Anna Davis - Banjo, Guitar, and Vocals
Anna is 17 years old and has been playing the banjo and making music with her
sister Shellie since 2005. In October 2008 she won first place in
the Congaree Bluegrass Festival's banjo competition.
Anna writes and sings her own songs and also
is a fine guitar player. Anna lives in Batesburg-Leesville, SC.

Shellie Davis - Bass and Vocals
Shellie is the band's serious bass player. She is 11 years old
and has been playing the bass since she was 8. She sings both
lead and harmony vocals. Shellie lives in Batesburg-Leesville, SC

Oliver West - Guitar and Vocals
Oliver is the lead vocalist and has been playing music for
over 40 years. He has written several of the group's songs.
Oliver lives on his farm outside Batesburg, SC.

Chris Boutwell - Mandolin,and Vocals
Chris has been on the bluegrass scene since the late 1960s. He grew up
in the Southern California area and was a member of several well-known
bluegrass bands there, including High Country. While in California, he
also had the opportunity to regularly open shows for Jerry Garcia and
the Grateful Dead. Chris moved to South Carolina in the 1980s. Prior to
joining our group, Chris played with High Lonesome, Claude "Junior" Lucas
and the Lucas Brothers, and the Palmetto State String Band. Chris lives in Gilbert, SC

Ashley Carder - Fiddle
Ashley grew up listening to country and bluegrass music.
His mother played the guitar and sang country
music in the 1960s and 1970s on
regional radio shows. His dad played the guitar
and fiddle. He has been playing bluegrass and old-time music for nearly 30 years
and has played in various groups including
High Lonesome, Bill Wells and the Blue Ridge Mountain Grass, Amick Junction, Carolina Crossroads, and The Brushy Fork Boys.
In addition to bluegrass, Ashley also plays old time fiddle and guitar, and has played with
groups that have placed at festivals such as the Galax Old Fiddlers Convention
and various other fiddler's conventions around the Carolinas.
Ashley lives on his farm near Leesville, SC.
